Since our return from Moscow we have been busy making plans for our next (and last trip)! Flights were a little difficult because it will be during "spring break" - not a problem for our flight to Moscow - but difficult for the connecting flights. Thankfully, we were able to get a direct flight from JFK to Moscow on Aeroflot (russian airline). We will be in Moscow for one week, returning home on St. Patrick's Day. We have also decided to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. The cost is less and we have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and even a computer. The apartment is near the Red Square which is a great location. Scott is looking forward to another visit to the mansion style grocery store "Yeliseev's Food Hall" on Tverskaya Street as well. It will be really nice to be able to prepare our own meals.
It is so exciting to finally be able to bring Andrew home!

Lisa,
What is the name of your apartment, we stayed at the Theater and really enjoyed it. Make sure you rent a crib from Andrei. Also, we flew the same Aeroflot flights for trip one and had no problems except for the food. Served lots of mystery items so bring snacks.
All the best,
Maria and Jeff

Yeah! How wonderful! We were just at that grocery store last week. We also fly Aeroflot. I agree weird food, but the price is right!
They were wonderful with the baby. We were the only adopting couple on the flight. I asked if we could have a bulkhead or a roomer seat with the baby, (we opted not to purchase her a seat) They gave us a middle row, with an empty seat inbetween. They also, let us board in advance, and at JFK, immigration pulled us out of the line and brought us to the front. Very special treatment!
Good luck!
Laura

Congrats Lisa. We stayed in an apartment on Novy Arbat. You are right. It was so nice to prepare your own meals and have more space than one little room. The price is definitely right too. We took Delta though. We happened to get a much better rate this time than last. Cant wait to see pics of the new family.
